For the price, you can't go wrong. I've been using the free version for almost half a year on my HTC Liberty. Recently, I had to scan some school documents. I didn't have a scanner so the next best thing was this app. I mean, I'm in college and do I really have money to spend on a silly scanner? No problems whatsoever. The document scans are quite clear and legible. The only downsides with the free version are the limitations (the ads aren't as intrusive though). With the free version, you can only scan 50 pages with 10 pages per each document, and only 3 scans in "batch" mode. Also, you have to deal with that annoying watermark on the bottom of the page.

With the license, all those limitations are gone. You can scan as many documents as you wish. No more watermark, no more ads.

I actually found something quite interesting..Originally I had the Android Market version installed on my phone (not the Amazon version). Once I installed the Amazon license, it opened up the Android Market version. According to the "about" section, it is now the full version. So what am I getting at? Well, from what I observed (I'm not 100% sure), Amazon licenses seem to be compatible with the Android Market apps. If you are annoyed with waiting for the newest version to hit Amazon, you can just download the license here and install the app from the Market place. So buy the license here for cheaper and update faster via the Android Market. This will only work with apps that have actual licenses or keys. If I were to guess, another app that you could do this with is PowerAmp.

This review is from: CamScanner License (App) I am the type of person who enjoys the idea of scanning mail, BBQ recipes and magazine articles for digital retrieving and organization. I've even gone as far as buying a top of the line Scansnap 1500 (highly recommended) scanner to help me do that. You can imagine my surprise when I tell you that in quite a few ways, this $2 app (on sale) is more useful than my $400 mega scanner!! The quality is as good as your phone's/tablet's camera and the design is very well thought out.
